Our refund and returns policy is based upon common sense
we pride ourselves on giving GREAT, even exceptional Service so if something is not right, we will fix it!
Lessons – Once booked we change the timing or day but we must have at least 72 HOURS NOTICE
If there is a weather problem – we will deal with it on site as there is no reliable weather forecasting for South Padre Islands beach – regardless of what your app says – nothing beats standing there.
As for Tools and rentals
we hope you enjoy your new purchase – and tool bags move around in the mail! if somethin is discolored we hope you will clean it first!
With Tool rentals – we do not supply new tools and buckets as they are rentals and you get to choose them for yourself!. If you wish to move up the next day to a bigger bucket we do not mind that at all – as you are learning – WE LOVE THAT! and we will come and upgrade your service to whatever you want – thats our job if you rent by the week –
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
personal circumstances change – accidents, fly homes, deaths in the family – we are humans we understand.

Folks who are unreasonable and have no excuse for blowing us off
Natural disaster – but we will judge it at the time – hurricane warnings, etc. – we do have those but we don’t have insurance – so if 15 people decide to cancel their vacations? so again we would ask for a small fee to literally covering overheads & nothing else. we are not here to rip you off. If you accept a gift certificate then no worries and yes, that can be transferred to another family if need be – we look after our clients.
Refunds
Once your return/refund is accepted and confirmed, we will issue a refund via our booking engine – we have to do it this way – if you paid by card it will go back to your card.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. (we don’t know how long they take – sorry – probably 5 working days is a safe estimate.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sandcastlelessons@gmail.com
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns – Call us for details
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
